This was meant for speed sketching/coloring and greyscale practice.

I'll admit I used to be a HUGE fan of Pokemon and Digimon and I'm 21 and still buy and play the games.
I finished playing Digimon World: Dawn and I was sooo disappointed with the Evolutional lines. Especially Kotemon's and Kumamon's.
WTF.....Digimon World 4 and DS made me happy <3<3<3 Kotemon is my favorite and his line kicked ass. Until Dawn/Dusk killed it for me :< WHHHYYYY

Very cute Kotemon pic here. I agree. I really hated Kotemon's digivolution line in Dawn/Dusk. They should've keeped the original digivolution line they had in Digimon world DS.

They messed around with a few others like Kumamon/Bearmon and I was just unhappy overall with the digievolutions. The story wasn't too bad and it was enjoyable, but it would've been so much better if I could've had my favored digimon the way they were introduced. I get that there's a lot of flagship going with the first season digimon, but the others need love too.

kotemon's evolution line disappoint me too...but i really love Digimon World Dusk

digimon games kick asses, but some evo lines are reealllyyy weird XD anyway, i love how you drew Kotemon, he's so cute

After World 4 (a fun, but uneventful Gauntlet Clone) they moved to the DS. Infact, I'm debating replaying World: Dawn or World: Dusk again. It's like Pokemon only a lot faster in terms of the battles. Sadly, it's not as 3D or visually appealing in one sense. >.>

I enjoyed Digimon World DS more than Dawn/Dusk. In the later they changed a LOT of the original digivolution lines and they just plain suck. You got to go assbackwards to get the digimon you want more than half the time.

I always felt like that was an expansion. To my knowledge, a lot of the evolutions that existed in the card game and elsewhere weren't present in Digimon World 3 (Like Agumon > SkullGreymon > SkullGreymon for some ODD reason). Dawn and Dusk had these kinds of evolutions in spades and, for better or worse, they made sense.

Better yet, backtracking over the same 'volutions lead to stronger versions of the previous form. Essentially you could've beaten the game with your favourite digimon, instead of getting forced to/locked into a form you dislike.

But a game isn't without it's criticisms.

the lines were there in DS and 4 but they completely botched them in Dusk/Dawn which made me sad. I think if I remember right...been a few years lol...I had to get eggs from another game which I lacked and I didn't make any myself.
